I have always had HUGE anxiety when it comes to dentists. Since my pregnancy in 2023 and my struggles with uncontrollable asthma (and all the steroids, inhalers, and nebulizers that come with it), my teeth have really taken a toll. Unfortunately, many dentists in the past have made me feel ashamed and blamed me for “poor hygiene,” which only added to my anxiety. The past couple of weeks I was in severe pain on the upper left side of my mouth and had no choice but to start calling around to find someone who could help and offer payment options. That’s when I found Aspen Dental in Glastonbury — and I am beyond thankful that I did. From the very first call, Molly made me feel like I was in the right place. She got me a same-day appointment, which felt like a miracle. My dental assistant, Abby, was kind, compassionate, and patient with all my anxieties. Then I met Dr. Zach — and I would honestly drive anywhere just to continue seeing him. He listened to every concern I had, treated me with empathy and compassion, and created a plan to get me out of pain and back on track. Money is tight right now, but Dr. Zach and Erika went above and beyond to make sure my health and comfort came before cost. They worked with me in a way that made me feel respected and cared for. The very next day they got me in for a cleaning and procedure. Rhody did my cleaning, and was the sweetest person. You can tell she truly loves what she does. Come time for my extraction, my anxiety was high, but Dr. Zach talked me through the entire process and made me feel calm and safe. I left not only pain-free, but also with a clear plan moving forward — and, for the first time in a long time, I’m actually looking forward to going back for my post-op appointment. I will never go anywhere else for dental care. Dr. Zach and his phenomenal team at Aspen Dental in Glastonbury have completely changed the way I feel about going to the dentist, and I cannot thank them enough.
